The Hunt for a Biological Dentist
That’s when I started searching for a biological dentist.
A practitioner who:

• asks why something is happening
• looks at infection and inflammation as potentially meaningful
• and understands that many of us want a fuller lens on our health
Turns out, Wales isn’t exactly teeming with biological practices—at least, not that I could find.
So I widened the search and discovered something promising instead: the cone beam scan.
✅ Unlike a simple dental X-ray, a cone beam looks deeper.
It scans:
teeth
jawbones
soft tissues
Exactly the places I’ve been quietly worrying about.
And then I found a dental surgery in Cardiff—about 24 miles away—that actually has the machine. They take referrals from biological dentists and speak openly about whole-mouth diagnostics. It was the first time in years I felt… heard.
I booked it immediately.

It cost £290, including a consultation.
And unlike the resistance I’ve met elsewhere—especially after becoming a “recent cancer patient”—they were welcoming, kind, and willing to investigate something that clearly matters to me.
Within days, I had an appointment. You:
They book flights directly with airlines or trusted travel partners.
Agents ensure you receive a
legitimate confirmation number and e-ticket.
If a flight is canceled or changed, your agent handles rescheduling for you.
Tonight’s the Night
At 7pm tonight, I’m walking into that clinic.
I feel excited and nervous—mostly excited to finally see more than shadows and assumptions.
Part of me wants to document everything:
the scan, the images, the conversation, the dentist’s responses. I have no idea how much they’ll let me record, but I’d really like to document the whole experience and share it honestly.
Because whether the scan shows inflammation… or nothing at all…
I want clarity.
And I want to know I turned toward my body instead of ignoring it.
This is my “before.”
Before I see what’s really going on under the surface.
Before any results land.
Before the follow-up post I’ll write once I know more.
For now, I’m driving to Cardiff tonight with curiosity, a bit of apprehension, and an open mind.
And I’ll let the scan speak for itself.
